Travis ... it's been a while since our paths have crossed. Good to hear from you and WELCOME TO THE PC FORUM. I know you have MUCH to offer, so I'm really glad to see you here and hope you stick around.
As to minimalism ... no authority here either ... but, your images rock, I especially dig Foundation and Isolation. +1
There was the famous line about trying to define pornography, being answered by "I know it when I see it." I think that can apply to minimalism, in that it is tough to explain, but when you see it done well ... well, you just kinda know it when you see it.
And in your pics ... I see it.

It has been a while. I stepped away from FM for a while altogether...for a variety of reasons...one of which was to work on my own work and process and to try not to be too influenced by what I was seeing...more about finding my own...
Glad you like the images and can "know it when you see it"...that means a lot to me, thank you.
I will do my best to stick around...I love discussion of photography a lot...

Good to see a high level landscaper here. Hope to see more from you, especially critique. I don't like getting critique at presentation forums like Landscape. The image ought to be finished when it goes there, but I do like to work on the finish part here.
I think you are being too kind Ben...but thank you, that means a lot coming from one of the very well respected people in the LS section...
I think discussion is good anywhere, but it needs to be sought after first, i try to be clear on my few posts that I am inviting it...and I sometimes forget that others don't do that and don't want it...and I probably offend people...probably have done it in regards to your images and unintentionally offended you...if I have, I sincerely apologize.
I realized that everything I posted up there was all B&W...minimalism doesn't have to be B&W...at least not as far as I am concerned...yes, B&W distills an image down to the play of light...but I think it can be done in color too...
