Canon celebrated 70 million about 14 months ago.

That's about 8 million a year.

And the forum anti-Canon partisans would have you believe DSLR business is dead and Canon is at death's door.

Well, most of those are Rebels, no doubt. To hear industry insiders, the big C is killing the market by dumping their Rebels for prices at which nobody can make a profit.

We think camera makers are afraid of Sony, but they actually love Sony because Sony is pricing its cameras so that everybody can maintain healthy margins and survive.

Well they sold me all the xxD line from the 20D and the 5Dc to the 5D3. If I didn't have a cottage I'd probably be a D series owner as well.

I thought he had a lot of Canon tele lenses but not so many cameras.
I only have 14 functional Canon bodies, but it's a start.
