It can be good to shoot flowers in cool, autumn mornings. Some flowers remain and the bees can be in suspended animation allowing slow shutter speeds. This is from a few years ago when I just got my Sigma 70 2.8 Macro and was shooting with a Nikon D90.

Very nice Brev. You might want to clone out or darken the blue spot in the upper right before printing this beauty

Thanks, Birdie. I returned many times to this garden and enjoyed taking many more photographs but I never happened on a scene like this again. It was like getting dessert before dinner. Fortunately, I took a few pics and enjoyed the moment.
