p.1 #1 · p.1 #1 · "We hope you've enjoyed your 30-day trial of Lightroom."

Just received an e-mail that my "trial" has expired and if I "plan to continue accessing" the tools of the software I need to join the Creative Cloud. Well........ I purchase my software and have never signed up for the monthly plan, nor downloaded anything from their site in a long time - since LR 6.1.1. I have no plans on going to anything higher and am getting quite adept at Capture One Pro. I believe this amounts to spam - so time to unsubscribe to notifications. It's been a journey Adobe - but time to change cars and utilize another vehicle. Your wheels have fallen off and your engine light is blinking annoyingly..........

Cheers

I have had the same message in spite of my account showing my paid up LR purchase. I also got a notice that my trial had expired.
It would be nice if Adobe looked after our records with a bit more care.

Either that, or they are trying to bluff some unsuspecting customers into CC.

I agree. In the notice there is not one mention of the option to purchase the software, only the monthly subscription. (Rubbing chin with thumb and 2 fingers motion......) Perhaps this is/was their intention ??

I have had this message since I purchased the software.

I believe it is for the mobile version of LR, which I have no intention of using.

Hope that helps.

Cheers

How many will contact Adobe upon seeing the notice, with operators standing by.

I believe Lightroom mobile free version only edits jpegs that you have on iPad. No ability to sync with full version of Lightroom.
