Although two of them passed from my hands for testing, I hesitated to buy one. In both cases I found IQ problems related with decentered elements, resulting in one side of the image being softer compared to the other by some margin on my 5D3. I took lots of pictures with them, mostly urban landscape. Both lenses were very sharp in the center and one side of the image. The other one was softer than I could accept. Since the lens is in relatively- short supply in my country, I am thinking about giving up for now because I don't want to buy one and sent it directly to a service facility for lens elements adjustment. I know that most use it for subjects that are located in the image center (where it is extremely sharp) or with a crop camera but I am sure that some of you take pics of landscapes etc. Has anyone of you experienced similar problems with the 100-400 II on a full frame camera?
