You know what this is.
I bought this lens new a couple years ago and I baby all my gear, so as far as I can tell the lens itself is like-new. No scratches anywhere, glass or body. The hood, however, shows some marks, as all canon hoods do after any amount of use.
Focus on my 5d2 is optimal with 0 microadjustment.
There is some dust on the inside of the rear element, which happens on every copy of this lens. It does not affect the image; for more info see this article: http://www.lensrentals.com/blog/2011/08/the-apocalypse-of-lens-dust
Also, the focus ring has some play to it; this is a commonly reported "feature" on new copies of this lens. PM me if this concerns you and I will provide more info.

This is definitely the most impressive piece of equipment I own but I'm selling because (a) switched to rangefinder and (b) don't like using telephoto lenses much these days.
