Those are the mushrooms your mother warns you about...those look like they will make you sick just looking at them! Nice find.

Thanks Travis! And yep, I'm not sure what these little guys were but they didn't look very tasty to me. A few weeks ago, my wife and I gathered up a nice collection of various different shrooms from our backyard as they looked like nice eating types but unfortunately we could not positively identify them so we err to the safe side and didn't eat them.

Thank you Greg! It took me awhile to finally get this composition as he was moving along pretty fast for a snail. Either that or I'm just really slow. I had to wait then reposition many times. I was using my tripod at first but that got old real quick and I grabbed some plastic and laid on the ground and handheld the shots.

What I learned from this assignment is that I need a new heavy duty ball head for my tripod. My current ball head can not hold/lock with my 70D & 100-400II combo in a downward position.
