Green screen is best suited for video and video is better done in Premier and After Effects then in Photoshop.
For extracting a subject from the background in a still image your better off using a neutral background and good selecting techniques to create layer mask that work well.
FXhome Photokey works well for my use. It allows batch edits and is pretty successful at pulling out the green with minimal effort. Worth a look although it is a bit expensive!

Works for me also. The picture below would be a lot tougher to do without it.
I've used Photokey on site at trade show events and it is easy to work with and quick enough to process that I can shoot tethered and show the customer the effects in less than a minute before they leave the booth.
