Just visited the Eastern Sierra and the color has been "knocked down" in many places by storms & snow fall. This is looking at the northern shore of North Lake. The usual color on the south side is mostly gone.
Did look at Lake Sabrina & the color at the Bishop Creek exit to the lake is still at peak.
There still appeared to be color in the usual places along 395. Conway summit had major patches of bare trees but some color remained. It's a mixed bag but there are some jewels if you go now & look.

This was taken late afternoon when the sun peeked through.

It looks like the storm took a lot of leaves down. I was thinking I went a week early, but maybe not. Thanks for posting!

Hey Dan,

A pretty nice shot considering the condition of the trees. I would crop a little off the left to lose that gap in the trees right on the left edge at the lake.
