I know it's not a G lens on a D810 or D4s, but try telling that to this little girls parents or grandparents. I really enjoy using this combo!

I think the "D" lenses have a certain look. It may be a look of imperfection, that mirrors our own?

Really nice. Did you have to stop down to f3.2 to get enough of her face in focus? I have the 85 f1.8 D and have thought about going for the f1.4 version but DOF is so narrow at f1.8 that I figure I'd almost never use it wide open anyway...

Many people that shoot wide open don't seem to care as long as the eyelashes of one eye are sharp.

I did close down to F3.2, though it has a different look than a 2.8 lens closed down to 3.2.

Or they just keep the head on shots.
Really difficult to get two people in focus with 1.4 wide open.
