Okay, true story.
This happened three days ago and I wasn't going to say anything but... it was a beautiful morning... south Louisiana is finally cooling off and I'm having coffee on the patio at the studio - which has this verytomyliking overgrown backyard - I mean it's like an enchanted garden - freshly mown lawn, shade trees all around - tons of bushes n stuff providing lots of privacy and sunbeams are streaming though the oak and pine trees... you get the picture.
Well, this unicorn glides down to the lawn as if riding on the streams of sunlight.
It was unexpected.
But I couldn't care less about unicorns and needed more coffee so I shrugged, got up and started to head inside when the darn thing snorts, turns its backside to me, raises its tail, then, well, you know... fertilized the lawn.
I would have paid little mind but the sun was rising as my lawn was newly steaming and a ray of light passed across the animal's rump and there it was, big as life, a brand.... D400.
I wouldn't have taken it seriously but as the critter galloped off at an impressive 8 frames per second it threw a shoe, which I dutifully collected.
Sure enough... magnesium.
Shipped it to Andre yesterday USPS standard mail. Which means of course it may never arrive.
