On our way out of the Snæfellsnes peninsula we stopped at a reasonably high overlook to enjoy the view back towards the peninsula and were rewarded with an amazing light show sweeping across the land. everything was so graphic and contrasty so i didn't try to fight it but embraced the long curvy lines of rivers sweeping out towards the ocean.

i hope you enjoy!

thanks

Tyler

Captures the mood, and scale of Icelandic landscapes well. I like it!

Hey Tyler,

What a cool view that is with the storm in the background. What a wild place that must be. I know you said you went with the contrast, but I will say I wish the foreground had just a little more shadow detail. I think you are right on keeping it dark, but maybe just not quite so dark.

I know i know Jim. The temptation of recovering those shadows... They arent fully clipped, there is some details visible at full res but any more would detract from the rest of the image.

The wildness and adventure in Iceland is intoxicating

Cheers!
