I hope that these magnificent creatures can survive our greed and need and aren't left to be viewed as specimens in a museum. I guess it's low priority but it would be nice if our government would take steps to sanction those countries that actively participate or turn a blind eye to their slaughter.

I love that quote. Thank you for sharing that. Being in Africa is the time I am most spiritual...is it because it is the birthplace of mankind or the awe I feel every time I see one incredible creature after another.
