thank you Morris. it is the lens' resolving power. i went down on my scooter @ 65mph and thrashed me and my lens. just got it back from Mid West Camera repair. hopefully it's fixed. me i'm not quite fixed yet.

haven't MAed the lens. i'll do that this week. the images are quite a bit sharper on my system in DPP. i am losing detail and sharpness when i display images on FM. i have not figured it out. either my work flow is off or the jpeg compression is affecting the images sharpness.

I find that I need to add just a bit of sharpening after resizing to restore sharpness. I need to be careful though because it's easy to over sharpen that way ~ Ron
