p.1 #1 · p.1 #1 · When they were young

A few images of some young cats seemingly unconcerned with all the mayhem that occurs around them...ahh, to be a child and oblivious to the trials and tribulations that we face on a daily basis. This is day to reflect I suspect for most of us.

Awe the innocence of youth depicted so very nicely in the first one. Lovely light in the last.

The tail looks almost like a branch in #1, love the light and tiny pupil in #2.

Excellent Eric - two very different images. Bet Momma like that paw full of claws latching onto her tail

#1 is a perfect glimpse at a moment of innocence. For lions a time that is quickly becoming much rarer, and for old guys like us, a time we may never glimpse again!!

Thanks Geoff...watching lion cubs playing is one of the most enjoyable experiences one can have on safari. And young leopards are so playful and so watching them bound from branch to branch is a treat.

It does, doesn't it....we got very lucky with that early morning light and some really good views of the cubs...of course I also spent a fair amount of time doing some video so I missed out on a couple of real crackers. C'est la vie
