I like this, did you lighten the background? It really works here to emphasize the subject.

Yes indeed,
When i took the picture i metered the light on the subject (spot) which made the background already brighter, after in Post Processing i lighten again a bit more.

very dynamic composition and processing.
so many would criticize the blown out background, but it makes the image here. Super.

Yes some people have criticized the blown out (out there) and some like it, In my humble opinion, it's a kind of picture that we like or we don't and nothing in between.
