On the first shot the shadow indicate the light is slightly behind the model to the left camera right

There also appears to be a fill flash or a reflector in front, maybe low camera right.

Nothing special, a big octa or rectangular softbox. Notice the even light all the way to the floor and soft shadow.

David, if I contradict anything Gregg says, listen to him, not me.

Not sure of your gear or budget but Westcott offers a massive 7' umbrella and diffuser you might find interesting. I have five pretty good size softboxes but just can't justify a box this large so I have two of the Westcotts for times when I'm either shooting large events/groups or in studio when I just need a ton of wrap.

It's not "softbox quality" light but it's in the ballpark and you can always add another diffuser if you need (which I generally do in studio).

It's a lot of product for $130.
