Now I've had my A7RII for a few days I've gotten a few minutes to run some tests with the lenses I own to decide on my personal landscape kit. I currently own the WATE (w' CV VM-E close focus adaptor), Sigma 12-24 (w' metabones IV-T, EOS mount) and the Sony FE16-35. I'm happy to share some of my tests. I'm mostly interested at what happens at infinity.
- These are for my use. I'm not trying to prove anything.
- I have exactly ONE copy of each lens and adaptor.
- My testing methods are highly flawed.
These are from a tripod mounted A7RII using an Arca Swiss D4 head. Manual focus on the apartments below the water tower. Lightroom default settings. Sharpening 25.1.0 No profiles or corrections.
