On my trip to Iceland last Spring we drove through these strange lava flow fields that were covered in a soft, green moss. The fields went on as far as the eye could see. Iceland has so many unique enviornments, a magic place.

Great capture of such a unique scene! The first one is so interesting to me, it's a like a stack of three different sized and colored blocks - the grey sky, the brown hills and the green rock field. Love it, nicely done.

Thanks all. Not the classic landscape that is usually found on this board, but I thought some may find the environment interesting. The moss was thick, and soft enough that one could lay down just about anywhere and have a comfortable bed. An amazing place.

I love Israel by the way. My Wife is going there on business in the Fall, and I am thinking of joining here. So much beauty and history there.
