p.1 #1 · p.1 #1 · CS5 and Bridge getting flaky.

I'm running WIN7 64 bit with CS5 installed. My normal work flow is to open in bridge and the open in CS5. I started having problems today:

First, the image I was working on in CS5 would disappear when I clicked any tool while it was over the image. I had to quit CS5 and reopen in order to get the shot back. So I shut down CS5 and restarted my pc. All was well for a while.
Then I had trouble getting bridge to open. The workaround was to open minibridge first, and then open Bridge. Now Bridge won't open at all.

Is this:
My 9 year old pc?
My Logitech trackball? (My wireless trackball has gotten flaky several times in the last few days. The functions from using the various buttons changes without any input from me.)
CS5/Bridge?
Operator error?
Something else?

Thanx,
Ron

this should be your first port of call as it will be the easiest to diagnose . disconnect it and use a standard wired mouse . if you still have issues then you can move on but at least you will know its not the trackball
CS5/Bridge?
Operator error?
Something else?

Thanx,
Ron

Thanx Ian. This was a moment. Of course I should try another mouse. However, it's working correctly again, so I will try another mouse if it screws up again ~ Ron
