I couldn't work out why this fly had dies do neatly against a wall. High magnification shows a strand of web diagonally across it. To a spider, a fly is a fly, aka lunch, however interesting we may find it. One foot is detached but it seems otherwise intact.

The bright background, a pale pink wall, is unfortunate.

I'm no expert but I think it is an Empis species, a Robber Fly.
