I was able to fit in a sunrise at Vermilion lakes after getting done with a week backpacking in Assiniboine Provincial Park. The morning fog mostly held off until minutes after the sun started to kiss the tops of the peaks across the valley. Ten minutes after I shot these none of the mountains were visible. Feedback always welcome.

I like #1 best but all three are nice in a quiet way that captures a quiet beauty.

Perhaps other forum members might take more notice?

Thanks for the feedback. It certainly was a quiet and peaceful morning. I am glad that I was able to communicate the feeling.

I appreciate the feedback. It's always interesting to hear other people's experience with a location.

Quiet and contemplative. 2 & 3 are my picks.

Would the sun hit the right side of Mt Rundle (in background) in the afternoon? That would be ideal. OTOH, this scene evokes peaceful serenity.
