Great capture and love the cloud formation.

For me, this is a bit too dark... especially the top

I would agree, great clouds over the canyon, but the sky is way too dark.

A nice view with potential, but the sky needs to be brought back. If your intent was to create contrast up there, just use Selective Color in Photoshop and just increase the Black in the Blue color. That will darken the blue of the sky but leave the clouds to be white. Also if you are using the B&W converter in Photoshop then adjust adjust the blue slider to darken just the sky.

Thanks all for the comments.I did this with LR and used the Gradient filter to exposure down on the top, I intentionally made the blues to black to get a dramatic feel, I will surely try another frame with more exposure on top.
