It was interesting to see the parent Ibis lure their fledges with food to get them to fly more and get stronger.
There were 2 fledges that separated just before a brief feeding and then they were gone.
Nothing special just some documentation shots.
The feeding sequence is quite unique Tim. If they are as hard to get close to as Glossy Ibis it is easy for me to understand why and you did a great job of getting in close. The flight photo captures the iridescent feathers well
Tim, the White-faced Ibis is a beautiful bird and one we see commonly in the central valley of California. I have never identified a juvenile nor see a feeding. Great set, thanks for posting.
