Last night we had approximately two hours of bright skies and I had fun. Until the whole sky and landscape was covered in thick mist.

I can feel the tranquility; aptly named.

The second image works better for me; less of the short focal length distortion.

BTW 2# has IMO potential with some processing

The lighter foreground definitely helps in these. Of the two, I like the #2 composition the best, there is more fog in it and that just looks cool.
