Mark,
Lovely images and some excellent viewpoints.
As for your sentiment, there is a current row that wildlife films commissioned by the BBC give the impression that many of the shots are in a fairly pristine environment, whereas the narrow angles edit out the surrounding damage.
Essentially, if viewers want to personally visit the wildlife in those same habitats shown, such do not exist and cannot be found. We have been protected from the reality of what has been lost. It is said that this approach has been counterproductive in terms of conservation that might have been.
Harold
Thanks Harold. Right, you can't believe anything you see on TV, I've always though it set up - more so more recently. And it is counterproductive, hiding the facts of things means they won't be addressed.
The way we are. Ours will be the first global civilisation to fall, should be something to behold ...

Wonderful series Mark. I suspect like me, you hope your photography does teach a few people of the wonders and beauty of nature encouraging them to preserve it.

Yes, Brian. I think the little things matter, because without them there wouldn't be any big things. And often the penny doesn't drop until years later.

Wonderful set Mark. Beautiful colors and backgrounds that really highlight the subjects.
I, too, wonder why so many have such a lack of regard and take for granted all the marvels and wonders that nature provides.
Birdie
Thanks Birdie. People are distracted, by the pretty baubles that can be wanted and pursued. It's great entertainment, but also insane to be partying while the house burns.
