On the Plains of San Augustin, one of 27 large radio telescopes probing the Universe.

"The observatory consists of 27 independent antennae, each of which has a dish diameter of 25 meters (82 feet) and weighs 209 metric tons (230 Short tons)" Reference: Wikipedia.

The image was captured with a long lens from the highway and the whole area is fenced off.

Bob neat shot great clouds. No wonder the aliens land in NM they must be searching for who keeps screwing with their cable TV. Heading out that way soon Santa Fe, Taos and Abiquiu one of my favorite areas. Regards Dean

Sure, you can stand in their shadow. It's a rush the 1st time one moves
while you're shooting!
