Lately I have been questioning a lot why I continue to pursue landscape photography. While my love for nature and hiking continues to increase, my passion for photography has slowly been declining. I begin to wonder why I continue to haul my camera around everywhere, when suddenly I have a moment of peace and clarity in the mountains and I remember why. I will always seek out these special moments, with or without a camera.

Nice. I was just at Christmas Meadows and had a similar feeling.

Andrew,
Hope you don't put the camera down. This is very well shot.

It's all about that moment between you and your environment and all the adventures in between. There are always those times where efforts are thwarted or the light is terrible or you just don't feel like it. Tenacity will always put you back on your game and you will have the pictures to show for it.
