No worry Roberta, even though I do not post on this forum, I keep an eye on your pictures, and I am glad to see that you are doing so very very well.

It's hard not to like both shots considering the setting. That being said, both are great captures

Nice work, Peter. Fine AF, especially if this is with your new Rebel.

Well, no, they were all shot with 1DX. However, I believe now that I could have shot the Bald eagle in flight with the Rebel quite effectively, because it is like doing Servo AF tracking on a Mack truck.. The other species probably not.

I'm guessing he invites you as a guest to show how good one can become at shooting RIF!

Thank you Kenneth, but I have no experience with shooting any of those raptor species in flight. However, I can do them when they are resting on a log.

And here is a real easy one because it is a fly-by. You do not have to be an image master to do these kinds of shots, and probably much better ones, of stunt hawks. That's what makes Ray's workshop so appealing.

Hi Peter, excellent shots.

Thanks for the mention, very much appreciated. I also appreciate you comments regarding the nature of this workshop. I am also dead against feeding wild raptors, and animals. The practice is flat out brutal, and hurts the image of every nature and wildlife photographer.

These are basically hired models. It is amazing how a few cracks at this workshop can improve one's skills, to help you better prepare for true wild opportunities.

This program is for fun., works especially well when there is nothing else interesting going on around here in southern Ontario. - the shoot coming up in 2 weeks should be especially good.

See you soon!
