I have been chasing the Northern Lights for the last 5 years. I live in Utah, and we don't get the chance to see them very often. I have been to Canada on multiple occasions. Cloudy weather every time! Iceland twice, didn't happen! Alaska. Cloudy once again! So when I got back from vacation and saw the Aurora forecast I had to go somewhere quick. I jumped the last flight from Salt Lake City to Kallispell Montana, and blasted to the top of Glacier National Park. The show was SPECTACULAR!!!

Congrats on finally shooting the aurora! I am with you on that, hopefully one day for me too.

The pano is probably a little small to appreciate. It feels more like a digital drawing than a photo because of the total black on the bottom. Perhaps more detail in the black areas would help give it more of a feel of realism.

And I agree, you have any non-pano shots? perhaps one just of the middle area?
