Despite the call for thunderstorms and a tornado watch in Chesapeake, Pablo and I headed down to the Outer Banks this weekend and were lucky with great weather, for the most part.

BTW - I saw a red wolf down there a week ago. It was moving too fast for me to get a shot though. I was going 20 - 25mph and just barely gaining on it.

I'd love to catch a glimpse of one of those wolves. You were very lucky, as you know. I doubt anyone but the rangers see them at all.

I (Pablo) would LOVE to see some red wolves. Went back to Alligator River NWR this PM and drove a lot of the less travelled roads mainly hoping to see wolves or signs of wolves somewhere... but no luck.
