the way I see it is 'horses for courses' . the great thing about a RAW file is you can process it more once .
so for speed and ease of efficiency I would do nearly all raw files thru LR/ACR , but on the odd occasion something warranted that little bit 'extra' then DPP would be the natural place to take it . Its not really a surprise that the people the designed the RAW file would also know how to get the best from it .
but for everything I would find DPP a real pain to use .
