The title, "Retreat", is not a noun, it is a recommendation. A reminder. In this day and age, life can pile up pretty quickly. We all need to step away every now and then, and find a way to reinject some peace and serenity into our lives. This couple has surely found their method. As I paddled past these quiet chairs resting on the dock, with the sunlight filtering gently through the palm fronds, I knew this place's purpose. They were vacant now, but surely are well used.
