I was told by my mother that my Grandmother/great grandmoted would use this thing (iron). They would have a big metal plate over a flame to warm a few (up to 8) of them and 2 or 3 people would work (iron) at once and switch to a hot one when the one they were using got cold. They used some sort of cloth to grab them....

At first I tried some shots avoiding all light but then I decided to leave them in. I wanted to put a b/w image, but I think the color suited my taste better this time
I did not have time to coment but I will, I like the phonograph...
