p.1 #1 · p.1 #1 · Red- Faced Warbler

This bird has eluded me for a few years. It is found only in the deep SW US and Mexico (pretty much). I never seem to get up to the mountain when they're "easy" to get. This year was no exception. I was a few weeks late but I did manage a few shots.
Not the best quality but since they're my first ever sightings and shots I'll post them up.

Congrats on capturing the elusive Jeremy, I really like the first and #3 on the frosty perch.

What a beautiful bird and well captured. Just a bit too much fill flash on some, at least for my likings.

Thank you for all the comments.

I agree the fill flash was too much on some. I had no time for adjustments as they just flew in rapidly and left just as fast. Some times they were 20 ft away, other times 5 ft.

This was on Mt. Lemmon up at Marshall Gulch (at the very top). It's around 8500 ft elevation or so. I missed the good time for them by a few weeks but they're still there. I may go back up tomorrow to see if i can get better shots.
