The twilight sky and bird were shot together by increasing the ISO, The water and stars were shot at different ISOs and shutter speeds for the final image I saw in my head. The tripod never moved. Also one more for the shadow detail all shots were taken within about an hours time without moving anything. I'm not sure if that's considered a composite or not? anyways I'd figure I'd explain anyway. Thanks.

Really sweet image. It appears to be a composite, given the slow SS needed to blur the water and capture the stars, yet the flying bird is 'frozen'.
