I would possibly try to clone out the OOF line to the right of the spider. Crop it a little bit but not as extreme as your 2nd shot and leave the colour/contrast/saturation etc as is.
Remember though this is all personal preference.

I more or less agree with Brian. I would add that the position of the spider in the frame might be best closer to that of the original.

Thank you both. Excited to try out your suggestions and compare. Seems like I need to learn when a shot doesn't need much processing.
