Time to fix my 17-85.... but I dread ordering anything from overseas. I only see 2 US sellers that have the part.

Does anyone have any recommendations on an ebay seller of Canon parts?

I'd just look for an eBay seller that's offering what you want for a reasonable price, and go for it - assuming the seller has a good feedback record.

Thats what I wound up doing Jim. Of the 2 or 3 sellers stating they were US, prices were about the same, and so was feedback. Based my choice on location and what appeared to be a camera repair saavy seller. Ill be into this 17-85 for a whole $75 once I get it fixed. So paid half market value in the end. I cant gripe.

I bought parts from two different US sellers, DH Camera and another in San Diego. Both were fast and efficient.

Well, neither of the 3 sellers had what Id call outstanding feedback...as low as 98.6 %.

But the part is in transit. It did take him 2 days to ship though. I was hoping itd arrive today so I could repair it today. But oh well, at least its been shipped.
