Great series Klaus. The first two are my favorite for the golden light and the soft, flowing sand.

These are exceptional. I saw the B&W versions first, and incorrectly assumed the color versions wouldn't be as visually impactful. I was going to say that I was pleasantly surprised, but 'astonished' comes a bit closer. These are remarkably good. Striking colors, almost etherial lighting, and excellent compositions. Even the blown out highlights from the sun in #1 and #4 work reasonably well.

A truly excellent series. Very well done, sir. And thank you for sharing them with us!

Sounds like the lens is a real winner.
Great set. Thanks for posting.

Thanks Dave and Matt,
Dave, yep, I left the highlights blown and going to blend in the other exposure to fix them up. Just showing the lens and camera combo with a single exposure and no blending.

Matt, thanks and I am really liking it. Just ordered the Fotodoix filter holder for it this week.

Wonderful! Other than the hilights blown, I like the first one for its golden hour beauty.

I don't use my Tamron 15-30 for landscapes but I use it for people/enviroment shots and dance floor stuff, some architectural.

It's a really sharp, accurate, awesome lens. Period.

Great shots, especially the last two! Can you tell me what exposure you used with the shot with stars? I would say not a real long exposure considering your stars are no stripes. Regards,

Theo

Nice shots, Klaus. I'll have to take a look at the 15-30, looks like it works pretty well

Lovely set. Difficult to pick a favourite.

I also use and love the Tamron 15-30. Used it for 85-90% of my 2,500 landscape shots on a recent 3 week tour of Iceland.

A warning here though
