Well I asked my retailer to sell me a 20 1.8 about three weeks ago. Of course it's back ordered. If Nikon expects me to pay a higher price now because they couldn't sell it to me when I wanted then they will certainly lose a sale. Unfortunately I don't think they care.

Yeah I am afraid you will be outta luck unless your reseller is willing to take the hit for you. Costs went up to resellers on pretty much all Nikon gear.

I am sure all those people waiting for the new 300 PF are going to be in the same mood, it went up too and it is on back order ahem, recall
