Thanks for the positive comments. Mandy certainly has character and a look that I like. I hope we can do something different when she comes back from her European vacation.

Thanks Ron. Processing #2 is actually done with the NIK collection of filters. I used the Color Efex "High Key" for the basic image and also the Viveza "Structure" to get the hair detail. For image #3 I find I really like the Color Efex "Contrast Color Range" for images that are flat lighting (cloudy overcast days, deep shade, etc) which gives some excellent colour tone snap that I like - and works extremely well with the flat fluorescent lighting in the Alberta Ballet classrooms when I cannot set up flash.

I tried to do this using only native photoshop/ACR but I cannot achieve the same results. I am sure that people who really have command of photoshop can accomplish similar effects ... but I cannot
