I'm going to Spain for about 3 weeks, I have 2 Nikon batteries and I want to buy one more, so I found these Wasaby batteries with 3 year warranty.

Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance

Eltano

I'm getting ready to buy some as the reviews I have read have been pretty good. Amazon has some good deals on them.

I don't have them for my Nikon but I have a couple for my GoPro and they work great, last just as long as the OEM battery. Obviously not the same product but maybe that will help.

I use a Wasabi charger and batteries with a Sony Nex as does my daughter with an RX100. No problems for either of us.

I have purchased some of these batteries for my Nikon and they work great. No complaints on them.

I've used them for at least 8-10 cameras over the years (Canons, Nikons, Sony, Olympus, Ricoh, Panasonic,mFuji, etc) In fact the moment I buy a new camera, the first things I do is buy the Wasabi batteries and charger combo since a lot of cameras are skipping the traditional wall charger (Sony A series, NEX-6, Ricoh GR, etc). No issues what so ever.

Go for it, Gus. I use 'em in my D810/D800/D600/D7K,
as well as my Sony HD video. Have a great trip

be aware that some newer nikon models using third party EN-EL14 batteries won't accurate detect of the remaining battery charge

read about it at NikonRumors.com:
http://nikonrumors.com/2013/12/08/the-last-d3100-d3200-d5100-d5200-and-p7700-firmware-update-killed-third-party-battery-compatibility.aspx/#ixzz3YcB5U2sZ

... oh yes, wasabi batts are the only aftermarket brand i buy. great luck so far. and the kit comes with a nice small charger.

I've been very happy with them for my V2 and V3.
The charger that is often included with a two pack of the batteries has a nice option that you can use it in the car on 12v. Of course if your camera offers USB charging you already have this option - but then you probably need the wall charger.

I use (and have used) Wasabi and find them to be no different (except for price) than the Nikon. They have performed free of problems over the years.

I have a wasabi battery for my D4. When I insert it fully charged into my camera - it reads as 80% in the camera menu. But then it lasts just as long as the Nikon batteries I have, so go figure.
