Lovely image, and lovely bird, but not a Yellow-rumped Warbler. Looks like an Audobon's Warbler, which is listed in my Peterson's only by image as a side note to the Black-throated Gray Warbler.

Anybody got more info? Neither Sibley's or Peterson's give this one it's own entry, and only Peterson's even mentions it at all.

I checked Wikipedia - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Audubon%27s_warbler
and I checked the Cornell Lab of Ornithology's "www.allaboutbirds.org" with no luck there at all.

Fred, that is a Yellow-Rumped Warbler Audubon's Population, different from the more common Myrtle Yellow-Rumped but from the same family. The main difference is the yellow throat.

Thanks. I learned something. I have butter-butts around here, but I've never seen one that "blue/gray" or even close. They're all brownish. Very interesting, and a very lovely bird with those colors.
