Hi Peeps,

Anyone here received a letter from North Shore Agency demanding payment of a Bill from POPULAR PHOTOGRAPHY? or Publishing companies? that you didn't even order?

I stopped subscribing POP PHOTO magazine a year ago then I receive this Bill asking for $14.00 with a threat.

I'm thinking POP PHOTO sold my info to these guys or they work with these guys in order to have people sign back to them.

The North Shore Agency agency address is PO BOX 9205, OLD BETHPAGE NY 11804-9005 same location were the payment will be sent.

so I Googled this and to my surprise it's there with lots of complaints...

Its mail fraud and reportable to the feds. If you don't then they just keep on going.

i will report this to BBB and it seems like a lot of people are getting scammed by this tactics

When I neglected to renew my subscription some years back, I got similar bill collector like notices. I ignored them and they disappeared after a couple years... It's nice to lose the clutter albeit it made nice bathroom reading for a couple days.

did they do something about your credit report? I meant did they mess around with your credit rating?

I've never bothered to check my credit report but I certainly have a lot of credit cards!

At tines I've received multiple issues of magazines that I never ordered and then was billed afterwards. I just ignore bills like that. I shred most everything in the mail that I don't recognize.
