p.1 #1 · p.1 #1 · Editorial Body Paint

I normally work on food and beverage but also as my roots begins with portraits I keep doing it as creatives one for personal work and as this one for commissions works and magazines.

As you can see we fusion fashion wear design with body paint design creating a visual aspect as the model have a designer clothes.

I hope you liked them.

Any critiques are welcome!

Incredible body paint and nice photography.

Solid black pants a *huge* distraction IMO. That horizontal line just destroys her lines and those of the art.

Not sure how to fix (tighter crop?)

Aloha!

#2 and #4 are the standouts here for me. I like both poses.
I agree about the pants though, a very distinct barrier from top to bottom. Maybe could have extended the paint a bit further down and had a loose fitting and low skirt instead.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts! Very real point about the line. Looking now it's true, is very distracting. Will be working on it.

Beautiful model.

Not sure what are you making the point of focus on the 1st and Second shot. The face is stop and a half under compared to mid torso.

Cropping needs some work as well.

Last 2 are good but face and eyes need more light and connection.

Too much drop- of shadows on the bottom RHS of the model. ( can be fixed by cropping little tight )

I am not sure what editorial body paint is. I assume fashion. If that is the case, the images showcase the body paint very well. I see this as showing the body paint as an article of clothing, that one would tuck in to a skirt. I think the images are amazing, as is the body art and styling. I do think the photography is excellent.
Also, Iwould have thought it was the same model if Ihad not seen both of them on your blog. Very fun.

Thanks all ppl for sharing. Besides the line, since the pictures was already deliveries and approved for the client I'll leave them as is. As the editorial mean is because the pictures will be used for editorial purposes. Thanks all!
