The camellias at the local green house are fading rapidly. These are a couple of my recent attempts to find something different and salvage the last of the camellias.

In the first are just too sad. Its a great capture and processing, but the subject is not working for me.
I cannot believe northern Utah is already warm enough to plant flowers. Long Island is usually much warmer but we still have snow that has been on the ground for 3 months. Last week we got 7 more inches.

Pansies yes, petunias not yet. We had a very warm winter. We only had 2-3 weeks of snow and only a dusting since the second week of January. Heck, I am going camping next week at Calf Creek and then Cathedral Valley.
There are nice things about the first, but to my eyes the pollen can be distracting. Last time I shot flowers, pollen was a major annoyance. Hmmmm.... Maybe a miniature vacuum cleaner...?
