Nice set...
#9 maybe if the light behind them had less of a hotspot it would feel more natural. If there was a way for it to be more like the gold color around the edges of the hotspot. Tricky to pull off from a distance but the only cc I could find.
Yeah, that one wasn't ideal, but given the constraints we had, it was about all we could do it the time we had. I'm happy with it, but it's not quite perfect.

When are you guys opening hoffshop sign-ups so Jess and I can snatch up two spots so I can ask you how you did 20 in person in October?
Haha. We have no idea. These pesky clients keep getting in the way

6 Would be one level better if you Photoshopped the Verizon Hall Sign out. At my paygrade I wouldn't do it, but at a hoffer paygrade I would.
17 feels like a crotch shot.
17 is definitely a crotch shot. That's why I included it
I feel you on the Verizon thing. I thought about removing it, but kind of like the real-ness of some of the elements in there. Just a personal preference I guess.

What straps are you guys using now?
Camera straps? I use a leather hand strap I found on Amazon and Amy is using a Canon CPS strap on a Nikon

I think they are all cool, except for #9, which is not a good shot at all to me. It does not work for me as an architecture shot--it's all over the place with tilted/weird visual elements and visual balance issues and the people are so tiny that all I see is this mess of architectural blur ...
but the rest of the shots are really fun and cool.
No worries. Different strokes. Thanks for taking the time to check them out and for your opinion!

In all honesty, they're all great. Number 9, though, I had absolutely no idea the couple was even in the photo until a couple of commenters mentioned it, and I went back to look again. After noticing the couple, I think it's awesome, but if I was a guest/family member scrolling through the blog post I would probably just think it's a nice architecture shot.
Yeah, that's a shot that's definitely not for everyone. I ran the idea by the couple and they were all about it. I wouldn't shoot it for every couple, but these guys dug it. I guess that's the goal. I can definitely understand why some wouldn't get it or like it though.
