The last is the best, imo. Well done on that one. Since hawks tend to perch high, the "up the nostrils" angle of view is a challenge to try to overcome.

Here are a few tips on composition:
For the hawks, try to include the entire tail in the image for a complete view. Not much you can do about the steep angle but it isn't ideal. Also try moving the subject out of the centre of the frame with your crop. Usually leaving more room in front of the bird. This also applies to the bald eagle shot in that I would leave about double the amount of space in front vs behind the bird. I would try to lift the shadows a bit on the eagle to see if you have some detail in the dark feathers.
The duck is a really nice detailed, perfectly focused on the head/eye shot. To improve on duck shots the #1 rule is get lower. The lower the better gives a more intimate image. With a long lens usually kneeling is enough but lying down can give really cool looking images.

Hope these suggestions help a bit.

Awesome feedbacks Geoff! I will keep them in mind.
You mentioned that I should leave more space in front of the bird. By that you meant the side where the birds are facing right?

Nothing to add to the wonderful advice you have been given.

I like the last one best. And yes, leave more room in the direction the bird is facing

Alright I've modified the bald eagle a bit here:

And here's the same red breasted merganser from another angle:

Nice suggestions by Ken and Geoff. Try a vertical capture to include the whole bird if it's clipped in a landscape style capture.
