I spent a few hours last weekend taking engagement photos of my son and his fiance. I would say they came out ok, I pictured them a leopards as i am not a very good people photographer.
As we we leaving I noticed a long billed bird by the edge of the water and quickly changed cameras so I could go from full frame and a 24-70 to 7D2 and 100-400....No one was really in the mood for me to spend much time as brunch was calling and so I just managed a few representative images. I figured it was a shore bird I had photographed sometime somewhere in the past but this had a much longer bill than any I could remember having shot. So after first thinking I had a whimbrel, much to my surprise, it was a long-billed curlew! Now these maybe very common to y'all but not to me.
These are not great, I did not spend the time to get low down or even much closer than the road but always happy to get a first. CC not necessary, there's too much wrong and your key boards will explode

So I guess the results of your people shots were... (wait for it)....spotty ~ Ron
