p.1 #1 · p.1 #1 · Ocklawaha River scenes

I live just a short drive from Ocala National Forest in north-central Florida, and the Ocklawaha River is only minutes from home. These shots are all walking distance from the bridge on County Road 314.

All shot with Sony a900, lens as noted with each photo, processed with Aperture/Silver Efex Pro.

C&C welcomed!

Reminds me of south Louisiana, my old home grounds. Lovely shots.

Your expert eye coupled to all this Carl Zeiss goodness makes for some REALLY pleasant viewing. Well done.

From what I've seen of Louisiana, I'd agree. Thank you.

It is a very nice lens. Don't know if it's worth what I paid for it, but I would never consider giving it back. My only nitpick is the lens does vignette with even one filter attached. I don't use "protection" filters, but when I occasionally spin on a polarizer (admittedly thicker than a non-rotating filter), it shows in the corners at the widest zoom setting.

Well the lens is terrific, no question about that, but so are your eyes for finding the best compositions .
Great processing as well

First the easy: Last comp is great. It's the only image I might have attempted.
Second the hard: You have made great photos out of scenes that are difficult to tame, frame and process. And the processing is excellent on each. Rich, sharp, detailed, contrasty.
Really excellent work!!
Scott
